2. The second annual Military Education Expo will be held today beginning at 6 p.m. tonight at the Murrieta Mesa High School Performing Arts Center, 24801 Monroe Ave. All military families from throughout Southwest Riverside County are invited to attend this free expo where they will learn who to turn to for help. The event is sponsored by the Murrieta Valley Unified School District’s Military Support Advisory Committee. Experts will speak of topics that would be of interest to military families, including the cycles of deployment, the availability of free community resources available to military families and how military families can afford to send their children to colleges with the Post 9/11 transferability GI Bill. The panel of presenters will include school liaison officers from the U.S.  Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. Also attending will be representatives from Family Forces, FOCUS, Exceptional Families Program, Fleet and Family Program, Marine Corps Family Program, Big Brothers and Sisters and the Veterans Administration. Each agency will also have brochures and information available for families to take home.

3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: orange chicken with rice. Hey Maggie, I don't get a chance to talk to the help desk but the ad has gone away for now. I justRead More made a comment on one of Carl Petersons blogs and now the comment has disappeared and no trace of it in my comment history. Are comments still pending proof reading before they post? Was it taken down by the blog author? I realize you guys have made a lot of changes so I'm still not sure if there are bugs being worked out or if some thing else is going on. Any help would be appreciated.
