1. Other than drizzle and patchy fog before 10 a.m., today's weather will be nice, according to the National Weather Service. Today is expected to sunny with a high near 71. Tonight, expect patchy fog after 10 p.m., partly cloudy skies and a low around 47.

2. The Vista Murrieta High School jazz band, along with Warm Springs Middle School Ensemble, is performing a concert at 7 p.m. tonight in the school theater. The bands perform several concerts each year, as well as playing on campus and at community events. Admission is $5.

3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District: chicken burger. Lunches are served with a fresh fruit/salad bar and a choice of juice or milk.
