Tuesday Night's Southwestern League Girls' Basketball Round-up

The Vista Murrieta Broncos, ranked 8th in the CIF 1AA poll, remained undefeated in the SWL, defeating Murrieta Mesa, 53-34, Tuesday night. The Broncos (9-0 and 21-5 overall) were once again led by the sophomore duo of Jaelyn Brown and Brittney Reed, who each scored 15 points. The Rams were led by Octavia Williams, who scored 13, and Mikayla Greeens, who added 10. Mesa fell to 3-6 in league and 13-12 overall.
Murrieta Valley lost to Chaparral, 46-33. Alex Morrison led the Nighthawks with 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists. MVHS fell to 3-6 in league and 14-11 overall.
