Tuesday Night's Southwestern League Boys' Basketball Round-up

The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks won their third consecutive game, defeating Chaparral High, 51-46, Tuesday night in SWL action. Kevin Padlo led the Nighthawks with 12 points, while Jordan Williams added 8 points and 9 rebounds and Tyler Bilton grabbed 10 boards. MVHS is now 6-3 in league and 17-8 overall.
Murrieta Mesa beat Vista Murrieta, 61-44, as Bryan Phan scored 20 points for the Rams. Davon Sanders chipped in 11 and Davian Neitz added 10 for Mesa. The Broncos were led by Spencer Benson, who scored 14 points and Austin Beech, who added 13. Murrieta Mesa improved to 3-6 in league and 12-13 overall, while VMHS dropped to 2-7 in league and 11-13 overall.
