Thursday's Southwestern League Girls' Soccer Round-up

The Vista Murrieta girls' soccer team handed Temecula Valley its first league loss of the year as the Broncos defeated the Golden Bears 2-1 on Thursday. Brittany Caserma and Ashley Johnson scored goals for the Broncos, who improved to 3-2-1 in league and 14-4-2 overall.
Murrieta Valley and Murrieta Mesa weren't as successful as both teams lost. The Nighthawks fell to Great Oak 1-0 and the Rams lost dropped a 3-0 decision to Chaparral.
MVHS is now 0-5-1 in league and 8-7-4 overall, while Murrieta Mesa is 2-3-1 in league and 11-4-1 overall.
