Thursday Night's Southwestern League Boys' Hoops Round-up

The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks defeated the Vista Murrieta Broncos, 72-58, Thursday night in SWL action. The Nighthawks were led by Tyler Bilton, who scored 17 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Kevin Padlo added 17 points and Jordan Williams chipped in 12. The Broncos were led by Austin Beech's 13 points, while Spencer Benson added 12. MVHS improves to 5-3 in league and 16-8 overall and clinched at least 3rd place. VMHS falls to 2-6 in league and 11-12 overall.
The Murrieta Mesa Rams lost to Temecula Valley, 66-36, dropping the Rams to 2-6 in league and 11-13 overall. 
Next week is the last week of Southwestern League play.
