Tedx Temecula It's a wrap or is it?

This past Sunday we had our Tedx Temecula wrap party. Apart from seeing my fellow sharers it was great to celebrate the volunteers that took care of all of the details so that we would not be a bundle of nerves worrying about the lights, paper cups, countdown clock and a myriad of other things that they handled!

Funny thing. Has this ever happened to you? Young man walks in with two adults (presumably his parents), I think to myself he looks familiar. I just saw him a week before with his black Tedx Temecula t-shirt scurring around feverishly. Bet if he had worn his t-shirt I would have instantly known. Once I looked in his eyes for a moment I knew exactly who he was. What is it about me, about us that glosses over people? I'm working very diligently to stop doing that. In some instances it's not practical. However, I was at a party for goodness sakes. I digress.

Our hosts are such a wonderful couple. They are incredible. It was potluck style which is always fun.....and dangerous. The food was really good and we even had our opening presenter, Nick Palumbo's 2009 Tre Fratelli "Meritage" wine.

I asked Jim McClaughlin the one who put this all in motion what's next? He said without blinking Tedx Temecula 2013! I wholeheartedly encourage you to attend or be involved in some shape, form or fashion. It's a great group of people. I feel blessed to be part of the Tedx Temecula inaugural class of 2012.
