Murrieta Volunteers Make Valentine's Dance a Night to Remember for Special Needs Community

This Friday, more than a hundred adults of the local special needs community will be treated to a dinner-dance celebration in Murrieta.

The Rotary Club of Murrieta will again host their annual Valentine's "Sweetheart Ball," in partnership with the city and Care Rite.

Rotary Club Spokeswoman Linda Dozier tells Murrieta Patch that 140 people will dance the night away at the Murrieta Community Center.  She says those invited look forward to the special night all year long "... like a prom."

Dozier says many local volunteers help make the event happen, and provided the following description:

Dentist Jim Yanoschik chairs the dinner-dance event for the Murrieta Rotary Club.

Michelle Hamilton of the Community Services Department coordinates the City’s participation and Interact Club members from Murrieta Mesa, Murrieta Valley and Vista Murrieta high schools will volunteer to serve at the dinner-dance along with Murrieta Rotarians.
