Forget Decorating a Holiday Tree—Enter to Win One!

Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley's Christmas Tree Lane returns to Promenade Temecula; raises funds through raffle of professionally designed holiday trees.

The following is a news release from Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley:

Temecula, Calif. (October 30, 2013) – Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley is set to host the annual Christmas Tree Lane at the Promenade Temecula this November 9 through December 15. Local artists and decorators have been called upon to create special themes and ornaments to create beautifully designed trees. In years past, tree themes have included an oriental tree, a “Giving Tree”, an angel tree and a unique art tree.

Christmas Tree Lane will be located outside of the lower level Macy’s Women’s wing. Shoppers can enter to win one of the trees by dropping off a suggested donation of $1.

“Home for the Holidays” is this years’ inspiration, which will be incorporated into the Christmas Tree Lane event. Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley Board Member and Committee Chair Vicki Puterbaugh states, “Each year we look forward to the Christmas Tree Lane Event as it is one of the largest fundraisers for our affiliate. Proceeds from the event stay within the Inland Valley area, helping us fulfill our mission of providing adequate housing for all.”

On December 15, Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley will host a public opportunity drawing and announce the winners of approximately 20 trees. The affiliate will also be selling their annual commemorative holiday ornament throughout the event.
