Small business love. A treasure here in Murrieta.

Poking around in the local shops in Murrieta I found this wonderful, hidden lil gem.  It is filled with unique treasures from another time, from another closet or jewelry box.  Each piece has a story and that is why I find it so very special.  It is not your regular consignment store.  You won’t find many gently worn tees and sweat pants here, but what you will find are unique pieces of jewelry, beautifully crafted jackets and dresses, trendy tops and a nice selection of shoes and purses.   The store is tucked away in the Ralphs shopping center on Cal Oaks over closer to Chase and Walgreens.  The sign says:  A+ Consignment but the true name is Easy Deals Consignment.  The shop buys, sells and trades items and is always getting new things, but the back story is the owner.  Love the shop but I adore her!

The owner is the icing on the cake!  She is darling and so helpful.  Her name is Cindy and I quickly fell in love with her too.  She helped my thirteen year old daughter find just the right item for an event and took time to listen to her.  Cindy is a college student who comes from a family of entrepreneurs, so it was wasn't a surprise to her that when she graduated from high school from Murrieta Valley, that her parents asked her what type of store she would be interested in owning and running, to help pay for her schooling to be a doctor.  (That is a lot of schooling!)   Her mother owns a consignment store in Temecula Cindy saw it being successful, so she wanted her own in Murrieta.  They opened and this 2011 graduate has done quite well for herself while maintaining a 4.0 in college and working full time.  The shop hours work perfect for her schedule (it pays to be the boss) and she loves her job.  Each time I have been in there, there seems to be a flutter of activity around Cindy.  Her friends come in and help out but she is always attentive to her customers. It's obvious that she has a heart for the people in her community and a passion for the business.  My favorite combination!
