A couple who settled in Murrieta after sailing around the world for 16 years has published a book about their adventures, according to a news report out Friday.
Ken and Margaret Crabill—he’s a retired accountant and she was a teacher—are featured in this article by The Press-Enterprise.
In 1991, the couple, who used to live in Malibu, sold their home and set sail from San Diego, the newspaper reported. They traveled on their 40-foot sailboat, Tomorrow, logging 44,000 miles and visiting 18 countries until they docked at Ensenada, Mexico.
The Crabills then settled in Murrieta in 2007 to be close to their children and grandchildren, according to The Press-Enterprise article.
In May 2013, Margaret’s book, titled “A 16 Year Sail Around the World,” was published by Green Park Productions.
The paperback book can be purchased on Amazon.com for about $25.
