Share The Harvest: Murrieta Mesa High School Hosts Free Thanksgiving Meal

Murrieta Mesa High School, the Interact Club and Murrieta Rotary will host their fifth annual “Share the Harvest” Thanksgiving Dinner and Fall Festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Murrieta Mesa High School, 24801 Monroe Ave. in Murrieta.

The free event is open to everyone in the community. This outreach is held to help the economically challenged individuals and families in our community but organizer Michael Stowe said, “We invite all community members to attend and look forward to having fellowship and celebrating the season in a community fashion.”

Last year approximately 2,000 people were fed at the event and 250 people took home complete Thanksgiving dinner boxes to feed a family of four. Along with the dinner there will be activities, games, crafts, and a Fall Festival for the children. Entertainment will be provided by student dance groups and musicians.
