Showers, Thunderstorms Possible in Southwest Riverside County

The was a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Dark clouds gathering Monday over southwest Riverside County were a sign that thunderstorms and rain may hit.

There was a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., the National Weather service advised.

Meanwhile, surrounding parts of Southern California were under flood watch through 10 p.m. These areas included the mountain and desert areas of Riverside and San Diego counties, where rainfall totals were expected to reach 2 inches by this evening.
