Roller Skating Rink up for City Approval

Epic Rollertainment is a proposed roller skating rink that would be located in an existing space at 39809 Avenida Acacias, Suite K, in Murrieta, where Easylife Furniture was.

Representatives from Epic Rollertainment, a roller skating rink proposed for Murrieta, are preparing to present their plans to City of Murrieta planning officials this week.

An administrative hearing regarding the proposed rink is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 18, in Council Chambers at Murrieta City Hall, One Town Square.

Described as an indoor amusement center with roller rink entertainment, Epic Rollertainment would be located in a 28,000-square-foot existing space at 39809 Avenida Acacias, Suite K, in Murrieta Crossings—formerly Murrieta Home Center or Furniture Row to locals. The space was formerly Easylife Furniture.

The meeting will consist of a city staff presentation, questions to staff, the applicant's presentation, and a chance for the public to weigh in as to whether they are for, against or have a neutral opinion on the proposed rink.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the city planner is expected to make a decision on whether the rink should be approved.
