Lanes on the southbound Interstate 15—from Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar to California Oaks Road/Kalmia Street in Murrieta —are being shut down all week for roadwork, Caltrans reports.
The far right and middle southbound lanes were closed beginning Friday night, and will be shut down again from 12:01 a.m. to 4:01 a.m. Sunday, according to the California Department of Transportation.
From 12:01 a.m. to 7:01 a.m., Sunday, a third lane will be closed on the southbound side, officials said, making passage of traffic through the area a challenge.
There will be road closures on that stretch until Friday, when a full road closure will occur, then again a full closure July 30 for installations.
