Power Outage Affects Businesses Along Madison Avenue

Applebee's, Chick-fil-A and Chevron were among the businesses affected.

A power outage was affecting 31 customers along Madison Avenue in Murrieta Wednesday night, including several businesses.

The outage started at 11:33 p.m. in the 24000 block of Madison Avenue, according to Southern California Edison's website.

The planned outage was expected to last until 6 a.m. Thursday and was due to equipment problems, SCE reported.

Crews were on the scene performing the needed repairs.

Businesses affected were Applebee's, Chick-fil-A, a tire store, Chevron, ampm and others, according to police reports.
