Lane of Northbound I-15 at Murrieta Hot Springs to Close Overnight

The number three lane (slow lane) is slated to be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.

A lane of northbound Interstate 15 at Murrieta Hot Springs Road is scheduled for an overnight closure Wednesday, an official said.

The number three lane (slow lane) is slated to be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21. The closure is in order for survey work to be conducted for Phase II of the French Valley Interchange project, according to city of Temecula Project Manager Avlin Odviar.

The closure was previously scheduled to occur Tuesday night but was postponed due to the rainy forecast.

Motorists will need to use a detour route by exiting Interstate 15 north at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and traveling east on Murrieta Hot Springs to re-enter Interstate 215.

All upcoming closures are listed on the city of Temecula's French Valley Interchange Web page.
