A frost advisory has been issued for Saturday night into Sunday for the Inland Empire and Riverside County valleys, where overnight temperatures were expected to drop to the low 30s and upper 20s.
"Frost will be likely," the National Weather Service out of San Diego said in the advisory that is effective from midnight through 8 a.m. Sunday.
The advisory means sensitive plants and crops left uncovered may be damaged, NWS advised.
Additionally, due to high relative humidity, NWS advised that some overpasses and bridges may become ice-covered and potentially hazardous for motorists.
Little change in weather conditions were expected Sunday night into Monday, according to NWS.
