Murrieta Launching Junior Park Ranger Program

A meeting for prospective junior park rangers will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.

Youth between 10 and 17 years old who wish to learn more about the City of Murrieta's new Junior Park Ranger Program are invited to attend a meeting this week.

The program aims to educate youths about the importance of the City's parks, trails and local wildlife, as well as have them take an active approach, according to a news release.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 10 at the Park Maintenance Office at 37000 Ruth Ellen Way, adjacent to Los Alamos Hills Sports Park.

City park rangers Joe Carpenter and Melecia Price will be on hand during Wednesday's meeting to answer any questions.
