Murrieta's Summer Concerts in the Park Series Kicks Off Saturday

Each free concert runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays July 6 through July 27 on the outdoor stage at Town Square Park in Murrieta.

The next four Saturdays bring live bands to Murrieta's Town Square Park.

The City of Murrieta Community Services Department presents its Summer Concert Series in the Park beginning Saturday, July 6 and continuing each Saturday through July 27.

Each concert runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the outdoor stage at Town Square Park, between Jefferson, Kalmia and Juniper streets near the Murrieta Public Library.

Here is the lineup:

Saturday, July 6—Richard Schmieg Band (genre: indie pop rock)

Saturday, July 13—Blue Fish (genre: classic rock)

Saturday, July 20—White Lightnin' (genres: country, classic rock and blues)

Saturday, July 27—Little George and the Big Time Band (genre: classic rock)

Residents are invited to bring a picnic dinner and lawn chairs and/or blankets. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Though there is no admission fee, the City invites concert-goers to bring canned and/or non-perishable food items to support local food banks.
