Memorial Fund Set Up for Motorcyle Crash Victim's Family

A memorial fund has been set up to benefit the family of a Murrieta man who died in a motorcycle crash Sunday.

Jon Boehning, 47, was the sole provider for his wife, Dawn, and two sons, according to a family member.

Dawn had hip surgergy three weeks ago, said Tara Clarke, Dawn's sister, in an email to Patch.

Boehning was riding his motorcyle on Clinton Keith Road, west of Palomar Street, He died less than two hours later.

The trust account to support his family has been set up at Bank of America.

Anyone wishing to contribute may visit any branch within the next 90 days, Clarke said.

Benefactors should mention that they would like to donate to the Jon B. Boehning Memorial Fund, Clarke said.
