Librarian Picks Best Books for Read Across America Day

Struggling to find a good book? The Murrieta Public Library gives its favorite titles, new and old.

The 100th birthday of Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel has reminded us all of the joy of reading. Reading is being encouraged this week nationwide, kicked off by First Lady Michelle Obama during National Read Across America Day on Wednesday.

Patch checked with our librarian at the Murrieta Public Library, Elise Malkowski, who polled employees and added some of her all-time favorites in. Find out what they recommend from picture books on up through adult reading.
