Islamic Center Moves to Murrieta
Prayers will be held at the Murrieta location Friday. The center was previously located in Temecula.
The is moving from Temecula to Murrieta.
The new location is at 26820 Hobie Cir., according to Ruby Choudhry, a spokesperson for the Islamic center's board of directors.
The center was located in a warehouse on Rio Nedo in the industrial western section of Temecula.

Prayers will be held at the new location on Friday, and a celebration for Eid, an Islamic holiday, will be on Sunday, Choudhry wrote in an email.
The congregation is working on raising funds to build a mosque, which caused an uproar of both opposition and support at Temecula city meetings.
