Get Out: Five Ideas for Your Weekend

Try an extra hot mocha, see a rock opera and visit the Wild West this weekend.

Friday is upon us and it’s time to make plans for those precious weekend hours. The good news is, there is plenty to do. Check out our picks for this weekend’s fun activities to hit and places to explore.

Our goal is to make the Get Out planner as reliable as possible, but keep in mind, some events change at the last minute. We advise calling ahead just in case.

This weekend you can experience a classic rock opera, snack on sushi and see the circus before it leaves town; and that’s just the beginning.

Why Go: This classic rock opera depicts the final days of Jesus Christ and features the spectacular music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Why Go: This weekend is your last chance to catch the circus before it moves along to the next town. The Circus Vargas show features daring aerialists, flipping acrobats, entertaining clowns and jugglers and tricksters aplenty. Come early and kids can get a real live circus tutorial from actual performers.
