Get Out: Five Ideas For Your Weekend

It "feels like tonight" this weekend.

Get amped this weekend with a rocking concert, thrill-inducing go-kart clinic and an intense and moving mixed martial arts movie.

Why Go: Pole Position Raceway hosts go-kart driving clinics on the first Saturday of each month. The 30-to-45-minute clinic covers everything from line choice, throttle and brake technique to turn-in points, passing tips and how to look for the fastest way around the track. The clinic usually helps drivers shave about two to three seconds off their lap times and, in racing, every second counts

Why Go: "Warrior" officially opens Sept. 9, but audiences can enjoy a special sneak preview before that. The film tells the tale of two estranged brothers and ex-mixed martial arts fighters, one an ex-Marine with a troubled past and one a struggling public schoolteacher, who return to the world of mixed martial arts. Their trajectories set them up to face one another in a final championship fight. Good luck not tearing up when you watch the trailer.
