Crowd Releases Balloons In Memory Of Terry 'JuJu' Smith

Blue and orange balloons--hundreds of them--were released Wednesday evening into the sky over Menifee in memory of Terry 'JuJu' Smith.

The balloon release was part of a prayer vigil held at Menifee Market. Earlier in the day, police announced that human remains were found in a shallow grave where the 11-year-old boy lived with his family.

It is believed the remains were his, bringing an end to a four-day, multi-city search for the boy.

Terry's 16-year-old brother was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of murder in connection with the remains found on the property.

Jim Edwards, associate pastor at Revival Christian Fellowship in Menifee, invited the large solemn crowd to pray as candles were lit in the boy's honor.

Then the balloons were released as the crowd looked upward.
