Celebration of Life Saturday for Mike Keeler

Keeler, 31, died in a car crash May 1 in Murrieta.

The life of Michael Leroy Keeler, 31, who died in a car crash early May 1 in Murrieta, will be celebrated on Saturday.

Services begin at 10 a.m. at Lambs Fellowship, located at 24470 Washington Ave. in Murrieta.

Following the service, there will be a reception held at The Colony, 40603 Colony Dr. in Murrieta.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a college fund for 7-year-old Taylor Joy Keeler, in loving memory of her Dad Mike. Donations can be made at Rabobank, 40723 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Murrieta, Calif., 92562, Attn: Chris McCullough.

Keeler was the passenger in a car that early May 1. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a female, was injured but survived.

The accident was still being investiaged by the Murrieta Police Department, according to Lt. Tony Conrad. A coroner's report stated the driver failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and went into a ditch.

Keeler grew up in Murrieta, graduating from Murrieta Valley High School in 1998.
