Another Wet Weekend on its Way

A good chance of showers is forecast for Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday are forecast for showers and maybe a thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of rain in Murrieta will climb to 80 percent by 4 p.m. tomorrow. It will climb to 100 percent in the night, when heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected with 10 to 15 mph winds and gusts up to 30 mph, according to the service.

Saturday is forecast for 100 percent chance of rain, which will dwindle as the day goes on. Saturday night is forecast for a 50 percent chance of rain. Snow levels will fall to 2,000 to 2,500 feet on Saturday.

The skies should be mostly sunny by Sunday, according to the weather service.

Friday’s high is forecast for 55 degrees with a low of 36. Saturday should have a high of 47 and a low of 32.  Sunday should be slightly warmer, with a high of 51 and a low of 36, according to the forecast.
