5 Places to Celebrate St. Patty's Day in Murrieta

You've got your green on, you've dodged the pinch and your friends are rounded up--whether you're Irish or not! For this week's Patch Picks, we did the homework for you and found five festive places around Murrieta to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. (If you find the pot of gold, share the wealth!)

1.) Spelly's Pub & Grille is planning an all-day party, "Let's Get Ready to Stumble," beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 2 a.m. The Irish pub has gotten an outside permit to host a beer garden and plans to serve drink specials all day long. The Guinness Girls will visit between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Irish dancers will perform at 6 p.m. Live music by the Brewer Boys also begins at 6 p.m. Traditional Irish fare such as corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew and soda bread will be served. Drink specials include Guinness for $6 pint; imports for $4 pint; domestics for $3 pint; shooters and peppermint patties. Partygoers must be 21 or older. 2.) is hosting a Beer Fest & Fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Toss one back while contributing to local horse rescue efforts. Your $25 donation will get you beer tasting with choices from more than 30 bottled and draft beers. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be free Irish Cheddar Sliders and Irish Stew. 3.) is transforming into O'Dudley's Irish Wine Pub for the night, and will be offering green wine and green beer. Irish music and light snacks are planned to dust the night with Irish luck. Prices are $10 for wine tasting (there will be red wine, too), $5 for a glass of wine and $3 for beer. The festivities are from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 40675 Murrieta Hot Springs Road. 951-461-2225

4.) ' is hosting a St. Patrick's Day party beginning at 10 p.m. when DJ D Rock will liven up the house until 2 a.m. There will be drink specials and half-off appetizers from 10 p.m. to close. 40484 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, 951-677-3636

5.) 's St. Patty's Day party kicks off at 9 p.m. with a DJ. The popular hangout will be serving featured drinks like green beer, green shots and Irish car bombs. There is no cover charge. 40575 California Oaks Road, 951-677-7155

BONUS TIP:

For those of you who want to opt out of the mid-week celebration, is hosting Leprechaun Games on Saturday. Starting at 3 p.m., patrons will team up to take part in surprise games, with prizes offered. Wear clothes you can get dirty in. 24750 Washington Ave. 951-677-6966
