1 Injured in Early-Morning La Cresta Fire
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a report of a fire that came in just before 3:45 a.m. Monday in the 29300 block of Avenida Cordoba in the unincorporated area of Murrieta, according to Spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
One person suffered minor injuries in a structure fire early Monday in La Cresta, a fire official reported.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County firefighters responded to a report of a fire that came in just before 3:45 a.m. Monday in the 29300 block of Avenida Cordoba in the unincorporated area of Murrieta, according to Spokeswoman Jody Hagemann.
"Quick action by firefighters contained the fire shortly after arrival," Hagemann wrote in an incident report, noting the fire was contained by 4:07 a.m.
All occupants of the home were safely evacuated, Hagemann reported; though one person was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Crews remained on scene for about one hour early Monday.
