The Division 3 third-seeded Lady Nighthawks were victorious 16-2 on Wednesday over the visiting team from Long Beach Poly in action on the Murrieta Valley courts.

The Division 3 third-seeded Lady Nighthawks were victorious 16-2 on Wednesday over the visiting team from Long Beach Poly in action on the Murrieta Valley courts.

Entering first round CIF play as the Southwestern League’s number-one seed, Murrieta Valley took command early on and never relinquished the lead in their afternoon match.

Murrieta Valley advances to the second round on Friday versus Corona Santiago, the winner of their first-round match Wednesday against Marlborough.
