Lake Elsinore’s Organizers for America 'Celebrate America'

Elsinore Valley Inaugural Ball at Trevi Entertainment Center in the city of Lake Elsinore.

On Saturday night, Jan. 19, Organizers for America, an ad hoc local organization made up of many of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to reelect President Obama in 2012 will be holding an Inaugural Ball in the city of Lake Elsinore.

In an interview this week with event organizers, I was told about the very special reasons for this formal event. "With the election over we wanted to kick up our heels not only to celebrate the reelection of the President and the American democratic process but also usher in our new OFA mission that focuses our efforts in support of a positive and unified community.

“After such a divisive election cycle, our purpose is for residents of Lake Elsinore to get to know and respect each other, accepting that we are a community of people with divergent opinions rather than members of opposing political parties. We all share our hope that by working together we’ll succeed in making our city a better, safer and more exciting place to live and enjoy. With our unified efforts, we can attract not only recreational visitors but also new businesses that would create better and stable employment opportunities."

The Inaugural Ball will take place in the Illusion Room at the Trevi Entertainment Center, 32250 Mission Trail, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530.

Adult tickets are $25 each, for which guests receive a buffet dinner, a night of dancing and great music played by an exceptional DJ. Children ages seven to sixteen are also invited to attend and will have supervised activities such as bowling and arcade; food and beverages will be included in the $10 price of their tickets. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets may be purchased at Trevi Entertainment or by phone with a credit card by calling 951-471-7129.

The Ball will be a formal/ semi-formal event. Attire of the evening will be your choice of suits and cocktail dresses or tuxedo and evening gowns. “This will give us a chance to put on our glamorous best!” said one of the organizers. There is no dress code for the kids. The seating begins promptly at 5 p.m. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Buying eight to ten seats at once will reserve you a table for your group. Dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight. A DJ will provide music throughout the evening.

For those who are traveling a distance to attend to the Ball, OFA has arranged discounted hotel rates at Lake Elsinore’s Holiday Inn Express, Best Western and Quality Inn hotels. Just mention the OFA Inaugural Ball when you reserve your room at these hotels to receive a special discounted rate.

Organizers urged people to purchase tickets early because once we have reached venue capacity; we will not be able to sell anymore.

Hey Maggie, I don't get a chance to talk to the help desk but the ad has gone away for now. I justRead More made a comment on one of Carl Petersons blogs and now the comment has disappeared and no trace of it in my comment history. Are comments still pending proof reading before they post? Was it taken down by the blog author? I realize you guys have made a lot of changes so I'm still not sure if there are bugs being worked out or if some thing else is going on. Any help would be appreciated.
