Time Warner Cable Keeps CBS on Air in Los Angeles—Amid Negotiations

At one point Monday, Time Warner Cable announced in an email to reporters that CBS would go black at midnight Eastern Time in the metropolitan areas of New York, Dallas and Los Angeles, multiple news agencies reported.

Time Warner Cable customers in the Los Angeles region, which includes southwest Riverside County, were due to lose CBS from their television screens late Monday, but the two companies managed to stave off the blackout, USA Today is reporting.

The two companies have reached a stalemate in negotiating the broadcast rights of CBS.
