Report: Murrieta Leads Region in Post-Recession Job Growth

Murrieta Mayor Rick Gibbs told The Press-Enterprise he attributes much of that to the number of jobs provided by the opening Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta as well as the expansion of Rancho Springs Medical Center.

A new report shows Murrieta leads cities in southwest Riverside County when it comes to post-recession employment numbers.

Murrieta Mayor Rick Gibbs told The Press-Enterprise he attributes much of that to the number of jobs provided by the opening Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta as well as the expansion of Rancho Springs Medical Center.

Lake Elsinore has added the second-most number of jobs in the last year, the newspaper reports.
