The five-story professional office building adjacent to Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta provides expanded medical and specialty services for Southwest Riverside County residents.

Community members are encouraged to attend an open house event for the five-story Professional Office Building that has opened alongside Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta.

The 153,000-square-foot building houses a wide variety of physician offices and state-of-the-art medical services. These will be showcased during the event starting at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 28, said LLUMC-Murrieta Spokeswoman Kathryn Stiles in a news release.

Murrieta Mayor Randon Lane will be present to welcome the new venture to the city of Murrieta, joining a host of physicians representing new and expanded services to the region, Stiles said.

They include Temecula Valley Pain Medical Group; Dr. del Rio (cardiothoracic surgeon); Hematology/Oncology Consultants; Corona-Temecula Orthopaedics Association Medical Group; Tri-Valley Internal Medicine; Heart & Lung Specialists of the Valley; Trinity Women’s Health; Dr. Munif Salek (pulmonary/internal medicine); Dr. Nizar Salek (internal medicine); Sun City Cardiology Medical Group; Medicine-Pediatrics Infectious Disease; Heart Center of Riverside; West Coast Surgical Specialists; LLU’s International Heart Institute; and Temecula Digestive Disease Consultants.

Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta leadership will also be in attendance to celebrate the opening of the building and to reiterate the commitment to raising the bar for healthcare delivery in the greater Murrieta and Temecula region, Stiles said.

Bruce C. Christian, President and CEO of LLUMC-Murrieta welcomes the opening of the new facility.

“We are delighted to have such a talented group of medical professionals and cutting edge healthcare technology just a few yards away from the hospital. We are celebrating their successful opening and welcome them enthusiastically!” Christian said.

The building, though almost fully leased, will provide other medical programs that are still under development including a behavioral health program, sleep lab and other services needed by the community, Stiles said. The POB also houses a community education room that will be used for employee education sessions, orientation and outreach education programs.

The open house event will be held in the parking lot in front of the Professional Office Building under tents and is scheduled to last until 7 p.m. Food will be served and people are encouraged to tour the building to learn more about the services and physicians available, Stiles said.
