Let me guess... Another refinery event? Nope, just plain old greed this time.

Americans are so misinformed about private enterprise.

Oil is tied to the dollar, as the Feds water down its value it depreciates causing inflation. AS we have more regulations, the State of California just started up cap and trade, expect prices to go up, it's like our hiden tax for cleaner air.

President Obama also said that under his plan of a cap-and-trade system, energy prices would ‘necessarily skyrocket.’ Secretary Chu said “we have to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.” He said the overall goal is to “decrease our dependency on oil” – not foreign oil. And that’s just it: the Obama administration’s ambition is to eliminate oil, natural gas, and coal – the most affordable resources we have. President Obama certainly isn’t giving up: under his watch gas prices have nearly doubled

Based on your comment, one must assume you are not American and that you must come from a place where its citizens are informed when it comes to private enterprise. Please tell us where that is so we may look to you and your fellow countrymen for information.

Lash LaRue 7:04 am on Sunday, November 25, 2012 "President Obama certainly isn’t giving up: under his watch gas prices have nearly doubled." Nationwide, gas prices are no higher than they were under Bush. They just happened to drop right as he was leaving office. They tend to do that when the whole economy is collapsing.
Ethan Edwards November 25, 2012 at 09:22 PM
OMG, you mean gas prices are up right before the Thanksgiving holiday, when Americans are travelling. That has NEVER happened!!! Oil companies aren't purely after profit, its Obama's fault!!! Hurry, get American Girl.......Jill Smith...hurry, where is Julie and Diana, hurry, get them all together and impeach the President. OMG, THIS IS A DISASTER!!! Where's Roy Holmgren? Hurry before he beats up a woman over this horrendous impeachable event!!! How about attorney Gregory....make sure you don't call him Greg Britton, tell them all to meet us at the Murrieta-Temecula Republican Assembly clubhouse. We need to call our congressmen......hurry, before the oil companies raise the price over July 4th holiday......Bah humbug!!!
