Chili's, Murrieta Police Officers Association Host Benefit for St. Jude

The Murrieta Police Officers Association (MPOA) and are raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

MPOA members will be at Chili's from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, volunteering their time while off-duty, to accept donations for this wonderful charity, said Murrieta police Sgt. Robert Anderson, MPOA president.

After diners pay their bill, they can choose to make a separate donation. One-hundred percent of money collected during this event will go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

MPOA members will be in uniform, greeting patrons and providing information about St. Jude, Anderson said.

Additionally, on Monday, Sept. 26, all Chili’s will participate by giving 100 percent of their net profits from the entire day to St. Jude.
