Black Market Brewing Co. to Satisfy Thirsts at Taste of Valley

Guests at the Taste of the Valley/Murrieta Jazz Fest this Sunday will get to sample the brewing company's winning creation firsthand.

The Black Market Brewing Co. has been making a name for itself—and the Temecula Valley—with its beer creations.

Locally owned and operated, the brewing company produces high-quality, hand-crafted ales for distribution to local bars and restaurants, including Murrieta establishments such as and

Beer fans can also taste its finished products at the brewing company at 41740 Enterprise Circle North, Suite 109, in Temecula. Tastings are offered throughout the week for about $8.

Tasting room brewer Shaun McBride comes up with a new beer every week, such as RyeIndia Pale Ale, which won gold at the 2011 Great American Beer Festival.

“We usually have about eight different beers on tap,” said Adina Hemley, marketing director. “We have staple beers on tap and also rotate several others.

Customers can also purchase their own 64-ounce growler to take home and enjoy or give as a gift. 

Guests at the Taste of the Valley/Murrieta Jazz Fest this Sunday will get to sample the brewing company’s winning creation firsthand.

Taste of the Valley/Murrieta Jazz Fest is a district-wide extravaganza benefiting all four middle school music programs, plus all three high schools. The event will feature food from local restaurateurs and caterers, performances by jazz bands from Murrieta Mesa and Vista Murrieta high schools and Shivela Middle School, along with several professional artists.

Taste of the Valley begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, at Town Square Park in Murrieta. A book of 10 tastings is $20 per person. All proceeds from the event will benefit the instrumental music programs of the participating schools. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
