The second annual Temecula Cup Polo Tournament and Luncheon this Saturday will benefit Celebrity Foundation for Children, an organization that helps low-income kids.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m., at 39375 San Ignacio Road, Hemet.
The guest of honor will be Riverside County District Attorney Paul Zellerbach.

The mission of the nonprofit Celebrity Foundation for Children is to develop programs to strengthen families and develop the health, welfare and education of children. Each year, more than 5,000 children are hosted at the Celebrity Ranch in Hemet for camps.
During the tournament, two teams of local professional and amateur players will face off. A catered luncheon will follow.

“We are so delighted to bring the noble and exciting sport of polo to Southwest Riverside County for this worthy cause,” said Celebrity Foundation president Mike Farah in a statement. “Last year’s tournament and luncheon was a great success and we are pleased to be able to bring yet another thrilling polo match to our donors, local kids and people in the surrounding community. It will be a fast-paced, fun-filled day of food and sport for all.”
