Freeway, Lane Closures Slated for I-15 in Murrieta

Full freeway closures are slated overnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 6-10 on Interstate 15 at Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar and Murrieta, according to Caltrans.

Closures of Interstate 15 in Wildomar and Murrieta will be in effect this week.

Full freeway closures are slated overnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 6-10, according to Caltrans.

Beginning at 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 through 4 a.m. Tuesday, all southbound lanes will be closed at the Clinton Keith bridge as installation of falsework continues as part of the bridge widening project.

Motorists will be directed to exit the freeway using the Clinton Keith off-ramp, and re-enter south of the bridge.

A full closure will affect the northbound I-15 lanes the following night, from 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The full closure will return to the southbound side of I-15 from 10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 to 4 a.m. Thursday.

Then all northbound lanes will be closed again from 11 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9 to 5 a.m. Friday.

Additionally, pavement repair is being performed on southbound Interstate 15 from Clinton Keith Road to Kalmia Street/California Oaks Road in Murrieta, resulting in late-night lane closures all week.

One southbound lane will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 through Thursday, Aug. 9 though 5 a.m. the following mornings.

Additionally, beginning at midnight each of those nights, the southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane between midnight and 4 a.m.
