Murrieta Singer Heads for American Idol Hollywood Week

Jenn Koch, 23, of Murrieta, received a golden ticket to compete in American Idol's Hollywood Week, where the judges will whittle down the list of those who will move on in the competition.

Murrieta viewers can root for a singer who calls the city her home.

Jenn Koch, 23, of Murrieta, auditioned for American Idol Season 11 in San Diego, where she received a golden ticket to advance to the show's Hollywood Week.

Koch, a photographer and student at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, is among 300 hopefuls who will hit the Hollywood stage beginning at 8 p.m. tonight on Fox and continuing at 8 p.m. Thursday.
