'He is the Christ' to be Performed Sunday in Murrieta

Two performances of "He is the Christ!" are open to the public Dec. 16, courtesy of the Murrieta Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A free public event celebrating the birth of Christ will be held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at the Murrieta Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 24820 Las Brisas Road in Murrieta.

"He is the Christ!" will feature the voices of a masterful local choir and talented soloists with songs inspired by Biblical scripture; with original lyrics by Kari Skousen and Rebecca Duvall along with original music composed and directed by Norm G. Boaz. 

Classical and contemporary art will also be on display featuring exquisite depictions of Christ from artists such as Henrik Olrik, Bartolome Esteban Murillo, Greg Olsen and more.

The sights and sounds of the season will be for you and your family to enjoy and cherish during this wonderful display of music, art and scripture.
