Workshop: How to Build Floats for Murrieta Parade

The City of Murrieta’s Holiday Magic Push Cart Parade will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at approximately 5 p.m. and will go through Historic
Downtown Murrieta. This unique parade boasts only non- motorized vehicles. If a push-cart option is right for your group, staff for the City of Murrieta will host a tutorial on how to assemble a push-cart float on Friday, November 18 at 6 p.m. at the Murrieta Senior Center, 41717 Juniper Street. If building a float isn’t an option for you, the city also accepts marching musical units, specialty groups (ie. dance teams, clowns, etc), equestrian/animal units, bicyclists/skateboarders, wagons and strollers. The sky’s the limit!
