Holiday Magic Push Cart Parade

This holiday season is right around the corner and what a better way to get involved with your community than to
celebrate the season and participate in the City of Murrieta’s Holiday Magic Push Cart Parade.

The City of Murrieta, in conjunction with the Historic Downtown Murrieta Association, is seeking participants for this year’s annual event.

Participation in the parade is free.

The parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 at approximately 5 p.m. and will go through Historic
Downtown Murrieta on display for our community. This unique parade boasts only non motorized vehicles. If building a float isn’t an option for you — we also accept marching musical units, specialty groups (ie. dance teams, clowns, etc), equestrian/animal units, bicyclists/skateboarders, wagons and strollers — the sky’s the limit!

However, if a push cart option is right for your group, staff for the City of Murrieta will host a tutorial on how to assemble a push cart float on Friday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Murrieta Senior Center, 41717 Juniper Street.

For additional information, please contact Laura Frasso, City of Murrieta Special Event Coordinator at 951-461-6110.
