City Song Contest Opens

Attention all song writers and music lovers...the City of Murrieta will be hosting its first City Song Contest.  Songs should be original content and melody (no copyright infringements).  Please submit family-friendly songs that you feel represent Murrieta.  They should be submitted in MP3 format.  Songs will be judged and the winning song will be performed at a city event.  Packets (including rules) will be available starting Tuesday, April 3 at Murrieta City Hall, Murrieta Community Center, or the Murrieta Senior Center.  Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
