'Breaking Bad' Could Have Been Set in Riverside County

Show Creator Vince Gilligan says he originally envisioned the hit series in Southern California—Riverside to be exact, according to this news report.

The hit AMC cable television show “Breaking Bad”—starring Bryan Cranston as a high school chemistry teacher who becomes a large-scale crystal meth manufacturer when he is diagnosed with cancer—was almost set in Riverside County, according to a report from MyDesert.com.

Instead, the show was set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, mydesert.com reported.
