Weekend Rain Closes Trails at Santa Rosa Plateau

Multi-use trails at Sylvan Meadows have been temporarily closed.

The recent storms have prompted the closure of a multi-use trail system near Murrieta, the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District announced today.

The district shut down Sylvan Meadows, a network of trails on the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. The Reserve is located just west of Murrieta's city limits on Clinton Keith Road.

The trails on Sylvan Meadows are used for bicycling, dog walking, and horseback riding.

Sylvan Meadows is scheduled to re-open when weather conditions improve.
