VIDEO: Murrieta Citizens Pack Town Hall Meeting As Immigration Debate Rages On
Meanwhile, immigration advocates are also speaking up.
Hundreds of concerned Murrieta residents gathered in and around Murrieta Mesa High School Wednesday night, as the national immigration debate takes center stage in town.
A day after a trio of buses was turned away from the Murrieta Border Patrol facility, residents wanted to know if and when more will come back. Previous updates from ICE and border patrol officials had indicated that buses would be arriving every 72 hours.
While residents inside the meeting were concerned with keeping the migrant transfers from Texas out of town, many outside were gathered to show support for the families who entered the country illegally.

As for what's next with Murrieta specifically, the answer to that question still remains unclear.
However, the city of Murrieta has prepared some answers to frequently asked questions:
- Can I donate goods for the immigrant children?
- How do I get on the email distribution list?
- How do you know an immigrant does not have a criminal background?
- If we see immigrants wandering the streets is there someone we can call to pick them up?
- Is there a total of how many immigrants will be sent to the Murrieta Border Patrol Station?
- What happens when a family is released onto our streets?
- What is the long term plan for our City?
- What is the Murrieta Border Patrol Station street address?
- What is the plan if some of these infectious diseases become a public epidemic?
- Who is going to feed, clothe, house, and medically treat these people?
- Who is paying for all the services needed to process the immigrants?
