Students: Murrieta Library Hosting Free PSAT Practice Test Jan. 18

Now is the time to register as space is limited to 44 students, according to this news release.

MURRIETA, CA – Improve your PSAT test scores by participating in the free PSAT Practice Test and Results Workshop hosted by the Murrieta Public Library and presented by Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. This practice test on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 1 to 4 p.m. is the perfect opportunity for students in grades 9 to 11 to find out what to expect on test day. Bring No. 2 pencils, a calculator, and snacks.

The corresponding PSAT Workshop on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. is for everyone, not just for those who took the tests, as students will learn helpful test strategies. The students who took the Practice Test will receive their scores at the workshop and parents are encouraged to attend the workshop as well.

Both events will be held in the Library’s Community Room.

Now is the time to register as space is limited to 44 students. Register online at www.kaptest.com/college.  Choose “Practice Test,” “PSAT” and “Find a Free Event”, type in your zip code, scroll down to the Murrieta Public Library heading, and sign-up.

“Teens, this is your chance to discover what the test is like and learn tips to succeed,” states Joyce Lea Brown, Teen Services Librarian.

These events are free and open to the public. The Murrieta Public Library is located at 8 Town Square (Adams Avenue and Kalmia Street). For more information about the program call (951) 304-BOOK (2665) or visit the Library’s Web page at www.murrietalibrary.info.
