Students Go Shoeless For Those Without
A group of more than 40 Murrieta students walked 5.8 miles to Temecula with no shoes to make a statement.
Today was One Day Without Shoes, a movement sponsored by TOMS Shoe Company. The company donates one pair of shoes for every pair purchased, all year long.
People across the globe participated in the April 5 event, including a group of more than 40 students from Santa Rosa Charter School in Menifee and Murrieta Valley High School.
They walked 5.8 miles, from Murrieta to Temecula.
